What are empty court hours worth?
A court that sits empty still costs you rent, lights and staff. Owners usually know their busiest evenings but rarely add up the quiet hours across a whole month. This calculator does that sum for you.
Enter the number of courts, how many hours a day they are open, your price per hour and your best guess at how many of those hours are booked. It multiplies courts by open hours by 30 days to get your monthly court hours, then shows current revenue, the hours left empty and the money those hours would have made.
It also shows revenue at 70% booked, a realistic target for a busy venue. For most badminton court booking revenue, the gap sits in weekday mornings and afternoons. Selling those hours at a lower off-peak price, or opening them to the public for online booking, closes a lot of it.
