Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Quantloop Technologies Private Limited (“Instring”, “we”, “us”), 20 Shubh Elegance, UGVCL Road, Nr DPS, Bopal, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380058. They cover the Instring website, the Instring app (web, Android and iPhone), and court booking.

By using Instring you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Instring for an academy or business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

1. What Instring is

Instring provides:

  • For academies and solo coaches: software to run coaching. This includes scheduling, courts, attendance, practice and match sheets, fees, events, messages, reports and, if turned on, Instring AI.
  • For players and parents: an app to see sessions, progress, fees and updates from their academy or coach.
  • For everyone: a website to find venues and book courts. You pay the venue directly.

2. Accounts

  • Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your login and one-time codes private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You must be 18 or older to create an account yourself. Players under 18 can use Instring only when added by an academy or coach, with their parent or guardian’s consent.
  • Tell us right away at support@instring.co.in if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Academies and solo coaches

If you run an academy or coach on Instring, you also agree that:

  1. You are responsible for your members’ data. Under the DPDP Act you are the Data Fiduciary for the players, parents and staff you add, and Instring is your Data Processor. You will:
    • collect it lawfully,
    • get verifiable parental consent for anyone under 18 (you can use Instring’s built-in consent step),
    • answer your members’ privacy requests, and
    • only add data you actually need.
  2. We process it on your instructions. We use your members’ data only to provide Instring to you. We keep it secure and confidential, and help you meet your duties under the DPDP Act. We delete it when you close your account, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  3. Your content is yours. You own the sessions, sheets, notes, photos and other content you add. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to run Instring for you.
  4. Instring AI is a helper, not a coach. AI notes can be wrong. A coach must review and approve each note before it is shared. You are responsible for what you approve.
  5. Court booking (if you list a venue). You set your own prices, hours, rules and cancellation policy, and you are responsible for the venue, its safety and honouring confirmed bookings. You must keep availability accurate. Bookings you accept block the slot on your calendar.

4. Plans, trial and payment

  • Free trial: new academies and solo coaches get 30 days free. No card is needed.
  • Plans: prices are shown on our Pricing page and are exclusive of GST, which is added to your invoice.
  • Billing: paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Cancelling: you can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires.
  • Unpaid invoices: if a payment fails, we will remind you. If it stays unpaid after 14 days, your account becomes read-only until it is paid. Your data is not deleted.
  • Offers: launch and founding-academy offers apply only for the period and terms stated with the offer.
  • Price changes: we will tell you at least 30 days before a price change applies to you.
  • Player and parent access is free. Academies may charge their own fees to their members. Those fees are between the academy and its members.

5. Booking a court

  • Instring is the booking platform, not the venue. When you book, your agreement for using the court is with the venue. The venue sets the price, rules and cancellation policy shown on the venue page.
  • Paying: you pay the venue directly, at the venue. Instring charges players no booking fee.
  • Confirmations: some venues confirm instantly. Others review your request and may accept or decline it. Your booking is confirmed only when you see “Confirmed”.
  • Cancelling: you can cancel in My bookings within the venue’s cancellation window. Venues may mark repeated no-shows, and may refuse future bookings.
  • At the venue: follow the venue’s rules and play safely. Sport carries a risk of injury. The venue is responsible for its premises. Instring is not responsible for injuries, lost items, or disputes that happen at a venue.
  • Reviews: only people who booked can review. Reviews must be honest and respectful. We may remove reviews that break these terms.

6. Using Instring fairly

You must not:

  • break the law, or use Instring to harass, threaten, or harm anyone, especially children;
  • upload content that is unlawful, abusive, sexual, or that you don’t have rights to;
  • add someone’s personal data without the right to do so;
  • try to access another academy’s data, or break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer Instring;
  • make fake bookings, abuse one-time codes, or get around limits or security.

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that break these rules. If it’s serious, we may also report it to the authorities.

7. Our service

  • We work hard to keep Instring available and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never have downtime or errors.
  • We may improve, change or retire features. If we remove something important you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
  • Instring, its design, software, logo and brand belong to us. These terms don’t give you any rights to them, except to use the service.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • Instring is provided “as is”.
  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit or lost business.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. If you don’t pay us, it is limited to ₹1,000.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited.

If you use Instring for business, you agree to cover our reasonable losses if a claim against us arises from your breach of these terms or from your content.

9. Ending use

  • You can stop using Instring and close your account at any time from Settings, or by writing to us.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we must close by law. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
  • When an academy’s account closes, it can download its data for 30 days. After that, the data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there is a dispute, we will first try to resolve it with you directly. If we can’t, the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat will have jurisdiction.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 15 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Instring after that, you accept the new terms.
